My boss is an idiot
My boss is an idiot, I hate my job, I only have to make it a few more days till the weekend, this is all crap.
I used to say that to myself every morning during an hours drive to work. It wasn’t exactly a positive start to the day or a good attitude to go into work with. But it’s hard to be positive when the end of the tunnel is dark.
The company I worked for was downsizing and I started having some health problems which led me to start thinking about making a change. I couldn’t stay at my current job because of my health and my chances of finding a new job were slim because of my age. I spent a lot of time doing research in the evenings and drove my family crazy talking about all ideas I had. Eventually I decided my best option was to work for myself, and due to a lack of funds I needed something with a low start up cost that I could do from home.
I tried making my own website from scratch and found I was about as skilled at that as I am at making pies (I’ve never baked a day in my life). So I gave that up after wasting few months of my life. Despite my lack of technological skill I knew the internet had the best opportunities for my future. After more research I found internet marketing and my new career. In my blog Dan’s Marketing Den I’m going to be talking about my journey to becoming the next internet marketing guru (or something like it) and how you can do it too.
